The tour officially starts upon arrival at the airport with a transfer to Sigiriya, where you may begin your adventure with a visit to the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple. This UNESCO-listed location, courting back over 2,000 years, features five caves portraying centuries-vintage artwork overlaying the walls and ceilings. After exploring this historical treasure, transfer to your accommodation in Sigiriya for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart from your accommodation to visit the breathtaking Sigiriya Rock. Start the morning with a hike to this Rock fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most visited tourist destinations. The well-known large lion paws gate shields the steps to the summit, where the monarch’s palace once stood. Afterwards, transfer to Kandy, a cultural treasure trove and en route, visit the important Mathale Alu Viharaya Temple. Upon arrival in Kandy, take in an amazing cultural dance performance displaying the ‘Udarata’ Culture, one of Kandy’s historically notable attractions.

Early morning explore the Kandy charm and tour around the city. Visit the Holy Temple of the Tooth Relic. Explore the charming streets of Kandy by taking a stroll through the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens. Later, travel to Colombo to enjoy a memorable evening in Colombo
